Best New Restaurants
A very good restaurant in a hotel? Yes, indeed. Not only is the
decor at Latitude 41 positively snazzy, but so is the food.
The stress is on high-quality and local ingredients, imaginatively
cooked with respect and even restraint.
We love the tuna tartare for its freshness and the salads for the
fresh flavorful greens. We exclaim with delight over the thumb-sized
carrots as well as the buttery salmon they garnish.
Nothing is left to be desired in the quality of the fish across the
menu Seafood strozzapretti (priest-strangler) offers a nice
selection. Steaks are superbly flavored. The dessert menu puts
Jeni's wonderful ice cweam to good use in A Study in Pears with
Reisling sorbet between a poached pear and another baked in phyllo.
To top it off, the bread is great.
